Meet binderful contributor becca bolden
Becca is a young-ish person with an old-ish soul. She was born and raised and still lives in Denver, CO. She feels like it’s a nice and aspirational idea to live elsewhere, but can’t seem to bring herself to leave - she just really loves this place. She has worked in nonprofits for almost the entirety of her career, wearing many hats (as you do) ranging from project manager to evaluator to marketer and event planner to bookkeeper. Collective impact is her jam - it’s really messy but can be truly beautiful when it’s working. She has a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in social work. She loves connecting with people one-on-one over coffee, wine and/or whiskey. She and her partner live in a sweet little house with a rambunctious and adorable puppy and chickens that are admittedly less adorable but much more low maintenance. They are learning the ins and outs of gardening, and hope to take on beekeeping in the near future. Becca has the goal to publish young adult novels that tell stories that her own teenage self would have loved to read about being biracial and navigating friendships and figuring out how to be a good and successful person in the world, and mostly, especially, falling in love for the first time.
